A Dreamer's World

Alright, so this happened last night. I was at Talia’s families house and we were just eating dinner when I commented on how much I love Grey’s Anatomy. A lot of things were said, we ended up racing down the freeway to the studio where they film the show thanks to friends of friends of friends and a couple of very kind strangers. One girl in a trendy sweater with elbow pads and a very professional looking headset brought over a man with gray hair who introduced himself, I thought he seemed familiar and then I found out it was Rob Corn the director of the show. I cannot even begin to explain how kind this man was for showing four strangers every set in the show, explaining in detail how they change the settings to turn one room into many. I got to put a head set on while James Pickens and Jesse Williams were in the next room acting out a scene. While joking around with Talia, Nicolette and Debbie both actors came into the room and very politely and (regardless of me smiling like a complete dork and probably blushing far more than any 20 year old adult should) introduced themselves and shook everyone’s hand.  We all asked each other a couple of questions and they were called in again to do a couple more takes of the scene. Rob then came back in and asked us if we wanted to see more of the set and we of course jumped at the opportunity. We then walked past Jesse and James again and Rob asked them if they would take a photo with us which they gladly agreed to even though they were in the middle of a quick dinner late at night. This has always been one of my favorite shows and seeing the people behind the writing, acting, directing and every other aspect of the show, even the medical consultant, has made me come to appreciate the show so much more. Everyone was so down to earth and kind and it’s easy to see why the script and characters are so easy to relate to. 

And also, Jesse is even better looking in person.
